The Kendall Excilon AMD Drain Sponge is designed with a unique pre-cut T-slit that fits securely around catheters, chest tubes, IVs, drains, and tracheostomies. It is impregnated with PHMB (polyhexamethylene biguanide), an antiseptic that provides added protection. The sponge offers fast wicking action, superior absorbency, and is a non-woven dry wound dressing. With no loose threads that can fall into the wound, it ensures a secure and safe application.
