COATED VICRYL® Plus Antibacterial (polyglactin 910) Suture is a synthetic absorbable sterile surgical suture composed of a copolymer made from 90 % glycolide and 10 % L-lactide.

VICRYL™ Plus Suture with IRGACARE® MP (triclosan) are effective against the pathogens most commonly associated with Surgical site infections:

• Staphylococcus aureus
• Staphylococcus epidermidis
• Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
• Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureusepidermidis (MRSE)

Frequent use for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in Ophthalmic procedures.
