Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4% Injection Vial, 84mg/ml in 100ml is an injection vial which is used for the treatment of metabolic acidosis and also to increase the urinary pH in order to increase the solubility of certain weak acids and in the treatment of certain intoxications to decrease renal absorption of the drug or to correct any acidosis which occurs.

Sodium Bicarbonate 8.4% Injections are sterile and is administered to patients intravenously via a central line or injected directly into a vein. The injection is not recommended for intramuscular administration. The dosage is 100 ml but the amount which is given to a patient can vary depending on the medical situation and the directions given by a doctor.
