The Welch Allyn® 77716 diagnostic wall set provides the new PanOptic™ Plus Othalmoscope for eye examinations and MacroView™ Plus Otoscope for ear examinations. Features and Benefits

The PanOptic™ Plus Ophthalmoscope provides clinicians and medically qualified personnel a superior tool for the examination of the retina, cornea, aqueous, lens and vitreous of the eye under illumination and magnification on paediatric and adult patients.
In comparison to a standard ophthalmoscope, the PanOptic™ Plus provides 20x larger viewing area, an increased 25º field of view vs. the standard 5º field of view to increase optimal visualization and a Fast, easy entry into undilated pupils with 5X larger view of the fundus for a streamlined exam. The QuickEye™ alignment lights on the patient side help you direct patient gaze and the Long-lasting LED illumination cuts down on need for lamp replacement. PanOptic Plus ophthalmoscope models are digitally capable, for capturing and sharing images of the eye.

The MacroView™ Plus Otoscope provides clinicians and medically qualified personnel a superior tool for the examination of the external ear, ear canal, and tympanic membrane under illumination and magnification on paediatric and adult patients. The MacroView™ Plus Otoscope is also intended to assess the flexibility of the tympanic membrane through air pressure and for general illumination of the oral and nasal cavities.
In comparison to a standard Otoscope, the MacroView™ Plus Otoscope has almost twice the field of view and 30% greater magnification, which allows for reliable diagnostic patient data in a standardized and energy efficient solution. The MacroView™ Plus Otoscope allows for simplified diagnosis of otitis media through superior visualization of the tympanic membrane.

This diagnostic set also includes the new Green Series™ 777 Wall Transformer which features no on/off switch to help with infection control and help reduce facility cost with an energy-efficient product.
